Happy belated birthday United States! We’re celebrating here at In Steady Rotation with the exciting news that the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team has taken home the Gold for the World Cup! Apart from this surprise development, July 4th always is the final departure from spring and acknowledge that the summer is in full effect. We encourage you to rejoice as the In Steady Curation spring playlist has been released. The below playlist is a collection of my favorite tracks from the melting months, from Freddie Gibbs & KAYTRANADA’s scorcher “Dope House” to an awesome new track from Rome Fortune & Jon Waltz’s “It’s Mine”. Of course there’s plenty of Mello Music Group, Tiron & Ayomari, and Michael Christmas, with his more introspective joint “ADHD”. There’s a bizarre (but insanely good) interlude with Mac Miller rapping on a Larry Fisherman track and a Red Pill feature with Nolan the Ninja. It’s high time you bless those headphones with some of the best under-the-radar hip-hop music. Enjoy the playlist below y’all and we’ll see you in a few months!
